Micro Deburring

Micro deburring, or micro blasting is a process where burrs and sharp or unfinished edges are removed from the surface of a very small part. Burrs result from machining processes that involve grinding, milling, engraving, and drilling and can create sharp edges that pose a safety hazard and impact the performance of the part. Mirco deburring removes burrs that occur in every process of manufacturing in both ferrous and nonferrous metal material, in the past, hand finishing has been used, but is time-consuming and costly. There are better solutions to remove burrs from small parts by using processes like magnetic spinner deburring or microblasting.

We at Specialized Finishes are experts in the process of cleaning small parts, creating finished surfaces that pass the critical requirements for the medical and aerospace industries, and offer state-of-the-art inspection reports to assure quality and accuracy in our work

We examine each project to determine which of our processes will create the finest quality end surface for our customers in the most cost-efficient way. Whether it is micro blasting or magnetic spinner we are able to achieve results with top-rated quality and a timely manner.

small parts deburring

Magnetic Spinner Deburring

excellent for high precision grinding including burr removal, chamfering and polishing on products made of nonferrous metal, light medal and some ferrous materials.

Micro Blasting, or Precision Blasting, for deburring and finishing a variety of surfaces.

Micro blasting

Micro Blasting or Precision Blasting, is a process in which high pressure air and very fine powder are blended together in a chamber to form an abrasive mixture designed to deburr ultra small parts.
